  3. This CD contains three items:
  4.  
  5. *The source code for the projects developed in the book
  6.  
  7. *Updated, electronic versions of chapters 15, 27, 28,
  8. 29 and 30
  9.  
  10. *A copy of the Adobe Acrobat reader for use with the 
  11. updated, electronic versions of chapters 15, 27, 28,
  12. 29 and 30.

  14. The Source Code
  15. ===============
  16. The source code is separated in directories that
  17. correspond to the different chapters in the book,
  18. such as \Chapte14, which contains the code for the
  19. projects developed in Chapter 14, or \Chapter9, which
  20. contains the code for Chapter 9. The \Def and \Include
  21. directories also contain pieces of source code used 
  22. throughout the book.

  24. The source code included for Chapters 15, 27, 28, 29, 
  25. and 30 corresponds to the latest versions of these 
  26. chapters, which are provided on this CD-ROM in the 
  27. \Chapters directory.

  30. The Electronic Chapters
  31. =======================
  32.  
  33. Chapters 15, 27, 28, 29, and 30 were updated after this
  34. book went to press to make sure that they provided the
  35. latest available information. The information in these
  36. online chapters supercedes any information provided in 
  37. the book.
  38.  
  39. The electronic versions are in Adobe Acrobat format 
  40. (*.PDF files) and can be found in the \Chapters
  41. directory. An Adobe Acrobat file reader, which enables
  42. text searching, cutting and pasting, and printing with
  43. these PDF files, has been provided.

  45. Adobe Acrobat
  46. =============
  47.  
  48. You can use the Adobe Acrobat reader to read, search,
  49. cut and paste, and print out the electronic versions
  50. of Chapters 15, 27, 28, 29, and 30.
  51.  
  52. A file on the root directory of this CD-ROM, called 
  53. Readme_r.txt provides information about the installation
  54. and use of this reader. The file Acroread.exe, also 
  55. found on the root directory, will create a directory
  56. and install the reader on your hard disk. Refer to
  57. Readme_r.txt for details.
